As of 2023, reenlisting in the New Jersey Army National Guard entitles you to a reenlistment bonus of 10,000$!
here is how it works:
With each paycheck, you can choose how much to contribute. The government will add extra funds, matching anywhere from 1% to 4% of your pay. Over time, these contributions can really add up, rewarding your hard work in the Guard!
Additionally! You can recieve a defined benifet or pension of 2% multiplied by your base pay.
With a monthly premium of just $566 and a deductible ranging from $52 to $156, Guard members receive quality healthcare at a fraction of civilian costs. Plus, the annual out-of-pocket limit is capped at $1,000. Serving in the Guard provides affordable, comprehensive healthcare options that surpass most civilian plans.
Guard Soldiers may be eligible for VA home loans with minimum or no down payment. VA guarantees loans for homes up to a pre-determined amount and can also eliminate the need for private mortgage insurance.
When you have to leave your job to serve your country, you are assured of being able to come back to work when you return. Federal law protects your right to be re-employed in the same position upon returning from military service.
Its never too late to begin your educational career! As a current service member you are objectively in one of the best places to start out with this benefit entitling you to 100% coverage of any public or community college tuition costs.
