Age Limits: 17–35 (Waivable Up to 42)

You must be between 17 and 35 years old to join the Florida Army National Guard. If you're older, waivers may be available up to age 42.

U.S. Citizenship or Residency Required

You must be a U.S. citizen or hold permanent residency to serve in the National Guard.

Educational Milestones

You must be at least a junior in high school, or possess a high school diploma or GED certificate.

Character Matters

Applicants must meet moral requirements, demonstrating good conduct and responsibility.

Test Your Skills

A qualifying score on the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) test is required to enlist.

Health & Fitness

You must meet medical, physical, and moral standards to ensure readiness for service.
